Forum: faqs Subject: Re: Self-splitting of pages by OCR engine

Thanks. What's a pity! Finereader 11 can sniff & split pages; didn't do the same FineReader 8 OCR engine? Can't be implemented such a directive for FineReader 9 engine?

The drawback is that I'm testing uploads from e large and interesting source - http://www.opal.unito.it/ - where double-page scans, wrapped into pdf files, are the standard. I can use FineReader 11 to self-split pages, but resulting tiff or jpg files are much larger and uploading turns out very slower.
