History

Mennonite Brethren in Christ

split into  Bible Fellowship Church (1947)

The Bible Fellowship Church was formed in 1947 by churches withdrawing from the Mennonite Brethren in Christ when the Brethren changed their name to the United Missionary Church and dropped all Mennonite connections. Members see themselves as continuing the tradition of the Mennonite Brethren of Christ.
