Ke$ha dad: 'She lied about knowing me'

Ke$ha's father Bob Chamberlain has reportedly spoken out against his daughter's insistence that she is not aware of his identity.

Speaking to Star magazine, Chamberlain apparently refuted the popstar's claims that she had never been in contact with her biological father and does not know who he is, insisting that he had a relationship with her until a few years ago.

"I was in her life from the time she was born until she was 19 years old," he is quoted as saying.

"The contact ended, and I have no idea why. Maybe someone around her thought it would be better to perpetuate those myths; I don't know."

Chamberlain reportedly released photos of himself with Ke$ha - born Kesha Sebert - as an adolescent as well as letters from the 23-year-old addressing him as "Dear Dad".

Reps for the singer have not responded to the story.
