Container Security Initiative (CSI) is a program intended to help increase security for containerized cargo shipped to the United States from around the world. CSI addresses the threat to border security and global trade posed by the potential for terrorist use of a maritime container to deliver a weapon. - Fraud Investigation (Secret Service)
The Secret Service's investigative priority is to safeguard nationwide payment and financial systems, a mission which includes the fight against counterfeiting, financial fraud, and forged identity documents. - Global MOTR Coordination Center (GMCC)
The Global Maritime Operational Threat Response Coordination Center supports the inter-agency response to maritime threats involving U.S. interests worldwide. - Intellectual Property Rights (CBP)
CBP protects businesses and consumers every day by combating the trade in counterfeit and pirated goods through an aggressive Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) enforcement program. CBP targets and seizes imports of counterfeit and pirated goods, and enforces exclusion orders on patent-infringing and other IPR violative goods issued by the U.S. International Trade Commission. - Intellectual Property Rights Center
The Intellectual Property Rights Center is an interagency effort that coordinates enhanced intelligence, investigative and enforcement actions to improve protection and safeguard the health and public safety of U.S. consumers. Particular emphasis is given to investigating major criminal organizations engaged in transnational IP crime, halting the flow of counterfeit goods into U.S. commerce and pursuing the illegal proceeds derived from sales of counterfeit goods. - Layered Nuclear Defense: Trans-Border Layer
The transit and border layer (Trans-Border) is composed of transit to the U.S. from a foreign port of departure or non-port of departure, as well as passing through the U.S. border prior to entering the U.S. interior. This represents the last opportunity to detect radiological or nuclear materials prior to their arrival onto U.S. territory, and initiatives in this layer emphasize maritime domain awareness related to preventive radiological/nuclear detection. - National Fugitive Operations Program (ICE)
The National Fugitive Operations Program's primary mission involves the apprehension and deportation of fugitive aliens from the United States, especially those who have been convicted of crimes, and the program also provides information to local teams around the country. - Operation Community Shield (ICE)
Operation Community Shield is a nationwide initiative that targets violent transnational street gangs, by partnering with U.S. and foreign law enforcement agencies at all levels, and making use of its authority to deport criminal aliens. - Small Vessel Security
