MARILYN SCOTT

BURN HOLLYWOOD BURN

The new soundtrack for Burn Hollywood Burn, features two tracks, Turtle Grove's "Smell The Roses" and Swamp Dogg's "Synthetic World." Turtle Grove, a six man band, plays a sweet mix of roots and tribal, groove-orientated rock. Swamp Dogg, whose birth name is Jerry Williams, got his first break in the music business in the early 1960s as a vocalist with the Lionel Hampton Band.

Ryan O'Neal, Richard Jeni, Eric Idle and rappers Chuck D and Coolio star in Burn Hollywood Burn. Sylvester Stallone, Whoopi Goldberg and Jackie Chan also make guest appearances. Burn Hollywood Burn is directed by Alan Smithee, and hilariously satirizes the making of big budget action/adventure movies.

VOCAL SAMPLING

Vocal Sampling, the premier Cuban a capella group, has been universally acclaimed as one of the wonders of the musical world. This group is not a choral group. The six young men are actually a swinging Latin band which sings instead of playing the instruments of the salsa orchestra. They replicate the sounds of tres, timbales, clave, bass, horns, and all the other instruments of the Latin sound.

Their first live album, proves to all that this group is truly producing those sounds directly from their voices and hands. They are truly a phenomena and their new album, "Live In Berlin" will be enjoyed by music lovers of every persuasion.
