The Idea of You

Powered by Reelgood

Nearly three weeks after debuting, The Idea of You is still sitting comfortably at the top of Amazon’s most-watched charts — at the time of publishing, it’s the #1 movie in the United States and the #3 title overall, behind only TV series Outer Range and Fallout.

The movie follows divorced 40-year-old mom Solène (Anne Hathaway) as she has a meet-cute with a 24-year-old pop star (Nicholas Galitzine) at Coachella which turns into a whirlwind romance. The movie is as swoony as it is chic — how could it be anything but with Hathaway in the lead role?!

A fashionable accessory takes center stage when Galitzine’s Hayes leaves a TAG Heuer Carrera watch at Solène’s place (to give her a reason to see him again) and the watch continues to switch hands between the two on-again-off-again lovers as the movie progresses.

However, that watch isn’t the accessory we can’t get out of our heads as we approach the bright, sunny summer months. We’re talking, of course, about the Celine cat eye sunglasses that Hathaway, as Solène, sports in multiple scenes. She wears them boarding private jets, strolling through town with Hayes, and even more times throughout the movie.

Hathaway’s exact frames are the black Celine CL40090I Cat-Eye sunglasses, which you can shop for $500 from retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales. Still, if you’re looking for a less pricey pair so you can rock cat eyes all summer long, we rounded up some of our favorite lookalikes below.
