‘MasterChef Junior’ finale exclusive clip: Watch the Season 9 contestants scramble to finish their last cook

The Season 9 finale of “MasterChef Junior” airs on FOX tonight at 8/7c. In part two, we see Bryson, Michael and Remy serve up main courses and desserts to judges Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, Daphne Oz and Tilly Ramsay. Who will walk away with the title of MasterChef Junior and the $100,000 grand prize? Watch an exclusive sneak peak of tonight’s exciting finale above.

In the clip we see Michael struggle with some inconsistencies on his cakes, hoping to he can pull off a beautiful presentation by cutting them to just the right proportions. We also see Bryson work his magic by taking a pair of tweezers to delicately place gold leaves on his chocolate dessert, prompting Daphne to ask, “Who is this guy?” Meanwhile, Remy’s brownie breaks, but she quickly recovers just in time to get everything on the plate.

“MasterChef Junior” followed 12 young home cooks between the ages of 8 and 13 who compete in a series of challenges to win the title of America’s next MasterChef Junior, taking home a trophy and $100,000 in prize money. This season, exciting challenges included cooking for the Harlem Globetrotters, a magical experience at the legendary Magic Castle in Los Angeles, cooking with seaweed and more! Last year, Liya Chu, a 10-year old from Scarsdale, New York defeated 11-year-old Grayson Price from Austin, Texas to win the Season 8 title. Her two-course finale dinner included Spiced Duck Breast with Scallion Pancakes and Miso Eggplant for an entree and Coconut Pandan Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit Coulis and Sesame Tuille as dessert.

“MasterChef Junior” is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam. Elisabeth Murdoch, Danny Schrader, Jennifer Fazey, Gordon Ramsay, Pat Llewellyn, Ben Adler, Sharon Levy and DJ Nurre serve as executive producers.
