Macklemore & Ryan Lewis spend a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Can’t Hold Us,” featuring Ray Dalton. Justin Timberlake and Florida Georgia Line set notable milestones and, outside the top 10, “Clouds” by Zach Sobiech, who passed away last week at just 18 years old, soars onto the list, fueled by a top 10 debut on Digital Songs.

“Hold” posts a fourth week atop Digital Songs, decreasing by 8% to 212,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It  slips 1-2 on the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart after five frames at the summit and holds at its No. 2 peak to date on Streaming Songs, drawing 5.6 million U.S. streams (down 6%), according to Nielsen BDS. The track’s airplay advances, however, as “Hold” remains bulleted at No. 3 on Radio Songs with 127 million all-format audience impressions (up 1%), according to BDS.

With the twosome’s prior breakout hit “Thrift Shop,” featuring Wanz (now at No. 12), having reached the top 10 on the Hot 100 dated Jan. 5, on its way to a six-week (nonconsecutive) reign, Macklemore and Lewis are one of only two acts to place at least one title in the chart’s top 10 each week this year. Bruno Mars is the other, with “Locked Out of Heaven” and “When I Was Your Man,” the latter of which bookends the top tier this week (4-10).

“Hold” collects a sixth week at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rap Songs charts.

Down 5% in overall chart points, “Hold” maintains the Hot 100’s top spot over P!nk’s former three-week No. 1 “Just Give Me a Reason,” featuring fun.’s Nate Ruess (also down 5%), which logs a fourth week at No. 2. “Reason” stays at No. 2 on Radio Songs, which it led two weeks ago (131 million, down 4%), and descends 3-4 on Digital Songs, which it led for four weeks (184,000, down 5%), and 9-13 on Streaming Songs (3.2 million, down 9%).

The Hot 100’s top three, in fact, remains in place for a fourth straight week, as Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors” again ranks at No. 3. As the track spends a second week at No. 1 on Radio Songs, he boasts a new career-best audience reach: the song’s 151 million (up 6%) bests the 146 million that “My Love,” featuring T.I., registered in its fifth and final week atop Radio Songs the week of Dec. 9, 2006. “Mirrors” falls 6-9 on Digital Songs (142,000, down 9%) and 8-10 on Streaming Songs (3.5 million, down 3%).

Daft Punk Leads Debut-Filled Top Four on Billboard 200

As Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 339,000 copies sold, marking the year’s second-best sales frame, the set’s lead single, “Get Lucky,” featuring Pharrell Williams, roars 10-4 as the Hot 100’s top Digital and Streaming Gainer. The track charges 10-5 on Digital Songs (180,000, up 53%), 5-3 on Streaming Songs (5.1 million, up 13%) and 3-1 on On-Demand Songs (2.2 million, up 28%), while vaulting 29-12 on Radio Songs (52 million, up 27%). “Lucky” collects a second week at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Songs and reaches the top of Dance/Club Play Songs (3-1), marking the duo’s fifth No. 1 on the latter list and first since 2004.

Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” reaches the Hot 100’s top five (6-5) in its 34th week, setting a record for the slowest climb to the region in the chart’s nearly 55-year history. It eclipses the 30-week ascent to the top five of Lonestar’s eventual No. 1 “Amazed” in 1999-2000. “Cruise” rises 4-2 on Digital Songs (197,000, up 4%), sails into the top 10 (11-9) on Radio Songs (55 million, up 7%) and pushes 17-16 on Streaming Songs (3 million, down less than 1%). It tops Hot Country Songs for a 13th week.

Like “Amazed,” “Cruise” has charted its steady Hot 100 course by starting at country and crossing over. “Cruise” crowned Country Airplay for three weeks in December. Reworked with vocals by Nelly, it’s since made waves at pop radio, ascending 12-10 on Pop Songs and 20-16 on Adult Pop Songs this week.

Selena Gomez’s “Come & Get It” returns to its Hot 100 peak (7-6). After she performed the song on the Billboard Music Awards (May 19), it gains by 4% to 171,000 in its first full week after the festivities and becomes her first top 10 (13-10) on Radio Songs (54 million, up 9%). She’d previously climbed as high as No. 15 on Radio Songs with “Love You Like a Love Song” (with backing band the Scene) last year.

Fellow BBMAs performers Icona Pop likewise revisit their highest Hot 100 rank with “I Love It,” featuring Charli XCX (9-7). The song rises courtesy of gains in airplay (84 million, up 12%) and sales (up 4% to 134,000).

Rihanna’s “Stay,” featuring Mikky Ekko, drops 5-8 on the Hot 100 and Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” retreats 8-9.

Beyond the Hot 100’s top 10, Zach Sobiech’s “Clouds” makes surely one of the most bittersweet debuts in the chart’s history, as the inspirational folk ballad starts at No. 26. As previously reported, the song became a viral hit for the singer/songwriter, who passed away last Monday (20). Its profile has been assisted by the buzz of a video in which several actors and musicians expressed their admiration for him. “Clouds” enters Digital Songs at No. 7 (and re-enters Rock Digital Songs at No. 1) with 156,000 downloads sold. On Hot Rock Songs, “Clouds” returns at No. 3 after edging onto the chart two weeks ago at No. 48.
