After rising to fame with the U.K. pop duo Wham!, George Michael went solo in a big way with 1987's Faith, which spawned four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In all, Michael's soulful vocals, brilliant songwriting, and iconic style earned him eight Hot 100 chart-toppers and 16 Top 10 hits prior to his untimely death in December 2016.
