Monsta X will become the first K-pop group to perform at iHeartRadio’s annual Jingle Ball event, it was announced on Friday (Dec. 12).
The septet — Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M– will participate in five of the concert events across the United States.
The first, and only, K-pop group to perform on the main stage of the annual Jingle Ball concert series, Monsta X joins legendary K-pop diva BoA and he-of-”Gangnam Style”-fame Psy as one of the only Korean artists to perform at Jingle Ball events. In April, the boy band peaked at No. 14 on the Emerging Artist chart.
The group will first appear at the 102.7 KIIS-hosted event in Los Angeles on Nov. 30. After that, they’ll perform in San Francisco at WILD 94.9’s event on Dec. 1st. They’ll then head to the Midwest for 101.3 KDWB’s Jingle Ball in Minneapolis on Dec. 3rdbefore hitting up the Boston event hosted by KISS 108 on Dec. 4th. Their final performance will be in Philadelphia with Q102’s Jingle Ball on Dec. 5th.

The 2018 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball national tour will take place in 12 cities beginning in Dallas on Nov. 27 and ending in Miami on Dec. 16. Monsta X will perform alongside the likes of Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Calvin Harris, Khalid,The Chainsmokers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Bebe Rexha and many other top artists.
