:So, sorted, then? Originally episodic, compiled together when released on video; an early Wikipedian with their VHS listed it as being a two-parter and then you found it as one bulk.

:Now, that's mainly me conjecturing. It's hard to find firm, reliable details online on what the show looked like as it first aired. There are amateur sites detailing it, but no guarantee they're not getting the info from here; it would explain why at least one site also listed it as both having six and two parts. So the problem I had is verifying for certain that it did, indeed, air in exactly six segments. After a brief attempt to find some online UK TV guide archives for 18 May 1997, I was mostly unsuccessful. Ultimately I found this site, which claims to list each episode as it aired. That lends credence, although if accurate it indicates that the show began airing a week earlier than our listed release date. On paper this should be easy to check, at least hypothetically, although I'm not carrying any '90s TV listings on me. – The Millionth One (talk) (contribs) 03:53, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

::On the airing date: it occured to me that the Discworld Monthly magazine would've covered the show. A few seconds later and, sure enough, they did in its second issue. It doesn't mention the episode count, but my assumption would be that they're accurate when they say they watched the first episode on the 18th, not the 11th. – The Millionth One (talk) (contribs) 05:52, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
