Kristen Lopez IGN Movies She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is back for a stronger second season, featuring dynamic stories and characters. Rated: 8.7/10 May 2, 2019 Full Review Darren Franich Entertainment Weekly I do believe She-Ra has genuine medical benefits. We will need to stop fighting, someday, and start healing. Rated: B+ Apr 30, 2019 Full Review Heather Hogan Autostraddle The most surprising thing about She-Ra and the Princesses of Power's second season is there's less implicit queerness than season one. But also: There's more explicit queerness than season one. Way more! Apr 29, 2019 Full Review Ash Jefferson But Why Tho? A Geek Community She-Ra and the Princesses Of Power season two is a delight. It is exactly the type of show I would have watched and enjoyed as a kid, but with enough substance that I can still enjoy as an adult. Rated: 7/10 Jan 22, 2023 Full Review Rollin Bishop ComicBook.com She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season Two is good, but perhaps not great. It's held back simply due to the fact that none of it ever seems to come to fruition by the end of the season despite teasing certain plot hooks throughout. Rated: 4/5 Jun 6, 2019 Full Review Andrea Thompson The Young Folks More emphasis on character isn't a bad thing, but when your sophomore outing is about half the size of your first, your show can't help but pack less of a punch, even if your lead is more of a skilled fighter this time around. Chynna B There are too many plot holes. Plus, it has bad animation. The show makes fun of the original, which is in bad taste. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Lala P Absolutely perfect. Even discovering the series as an adult I found the humor excellent and the storyline gripping with certain episodes very deep. The characters are all incredibly endearing and have a touching development. Inspiring and moving. This series is a masterpiece. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review Lucky_Tipper Great second season short with lots of humour to start and really heating up towards the end Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This season is too short to really get you involved, but the ending is a good cliffhanger. But overall, this season is not as good as Season 1. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A much better improvement over the first season, playing to its strengths and charm. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member An absolute amazing continuation of an already well done first season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
