James Grebey Observer Netflix's Castlevania works because it's using its new medium to really explore these characters and this story in a way the games can't quite. Mar 4, 2020 Full Review Therese Lacson Nerdophiles Castlevania season 3 ends in tragic fashion, hardening our heroes and anti-heroes for the future and leaving us clamoring for season 4 Mar 3, 2021 Full Review James Beckett Anime News Network The cardinal sin that Castlevania Season 3 commits is in becoming the one thing a Castlevania property should never, ever be: Boring. Rated: C- Mar 2, 2021 Full Review Shah Shahid Comic Years The biggest takeaway from Castlevania Season 3 is how it makes us want more. Despite providing a satisfying story. Nick S Solid! Not quite as enjoyable as Seasons 1 and 2 but still very watchable with some interesting new characters and good attempt at continuation of the plot post the events that happened in S2. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Natnael B My least fevourite season but still it's castlevenia how couldn't it be good. In this season the characters were amazingly developed we care about all of them. The final action sequence perfect as always. 👌 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Castlevania F They did wrong to Alucard, the decline of what it was somehow not that bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/23 Full Review Raziel T Would certainly recommend - it's an absolute sight for sore eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review Jeremy S Season three of Castlevania is probably its weakest season. Still an alright watch, but it feels a bit all over the place - compared to the rest of the series. I do like that they build upon the cast of characters by adding in brand new ones, as I'm always glad to see fresh blood (pun intended) added to a franchise that I love. So, long as it's done in a way that's respectful to the source material. Something that season three very much did, as it felt like a proper in-between of the two games that are its source material: "Dracula's Curse" and "Curse of Darkness". However, as I said - it felt a bit all over the place. And it did catch me off-guard them adding in some full-on sex scenes to a series that didn't really need or warrant them. Especially with how they mixed them in with story beats that are essential to understand what's going on later on in the series. All in all, I'd say this season felt... "Off". It's not bad, but this season is one I'll probably not rewatch as often. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/23 Full Review Retalhador b Woke elements began to disrupt the entertainment.
