Jim Gaffigan and Carl Reiner are joining in a game of Duck Duck Goose.
The two have been added to the voice cast of the animated feature, joining Stephen Fry, Zendaya, Jennifer Grey and Molly Shannon.
The film follows a high-flying goose bachelor (Gaffigan) as he is saddled with two wide-eyed orphans and works to keep his new pseudo-family safe from the impending winter and a nefarious cat. Reiner will voice Larry, a venerable, wise and loyal friend who happens to be a turtle.
Currently in production, Duck Duck Goose is the first animated feature film from Original Force Animation and will be directed by Home helmer Christopher Jenkins from a screenplay by Jenkins and Rob Muir. Original Force Animation co-presidents Sandra Rabins and Penney Finkelman Cox are producing the pic along with Viola Chen.
“With the comic talent of Jim Gaffigan and Carl Reiner, you stand back and let the jokes come,” Jenkins said in a statement. “It’s a complete thrill to work with talent of this caliber. Add to that the sparkling musical talent of composer Mark Isham and it’s easy to see how we have something special coming together.”
