Photos: VR, AR, and XR devices I tried at CES 2024

At #CES2024, I tried a lot of #VR headsets, #AR glasses, and #XR experiences. The technology is improving by leaps and bounds with better displays, smoother rendering, and more useful software, apps, and experiences.

And of course, the upcoming launch of Apple #VisionPro is going to generate a lot more interest in this space. We’re going to be talking about this topic a lot in 2024 — including the ways the technology can be used to do good by improving empathy and mental health, reducing carbon footprints, and enhancing and accelerating skills acquisition and training programs, just to name a few.

Here are photos of some of my VR, AR, and XR adventures at CES this year.

(Hat tip to Sabrina Ortiz for taking many of these photos, and to Sony, Varjo, Ultraleap, XREAL, Rendever, and others for their generosity of time in answering all of my questions and offering extensive demos.)
