19th Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival
March-May 2025
The 18th festival opened March 29-31 2024 at WonderCon at the Anaheim Convention Center, then to a fun day at the James Bridges Theater on the UCLA campus on May 11, then to the The Yard Theatre in LA on May 26. Thanks for the great turnout!

We held the first Daniel Koops Award for Outstanding Film Score, on May 11 at the James Bridges Theater. The event celebrated the art of film score composition. It was a lovely program that will happen again next year.

The festival is fundraising to bring Marusya Shuvalova, a young Ukrainian filmmaker, and her family to the festival in Los Angeles to screen her two fantastic short documentary films about life as a child during wartime. Marusya will also make school appearances and have filmmaker learning experiences with industry professionals.
